Our Story
Direct Power was founded in 2019 by Jack Guest — a Solihull electrician who’d seen first-hand how unreliable and opaque the industry could be. He set out to build something different: a local electrical company where customers always knew what to expect, what they were paying for, and who was turning up at their door.
What started as a one-man operation has grown into a trusted local team. But the approach hasn’t changed. Every job — from a single socket to a full commercial rewire — gets the same level of care, communication, and attention to detail.

I am Big on rugby for the teamwork and dedication, and when I’m off the field you’ll probably find me deep in a paddle match. Always up for a challenge, on or off the court.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time on the golf course, staying active, and making the most of my free time. I believe the same focus and discipline I bring to my hobbies also carries over into my work, helping me stay motivated and always improving.
