An air source heat pump (ASHP) extracts heat from the outside air and uses it to warm your home via underfloor heating or radiators — even in temperatures as low as -15°C. For every unit of electricity used, a modern heat pump can produce three to four units of heat, making them significantly more efficient than gas boilers or electric resistance heaters.

With the UK's gas boiler phase-out on the horizon and energy prices remaining volatile, more homeowners and businesses are making the switch to heat pump technology. The government's Boiler Upgrade Scheme currently offers a £7,500 grant towards the cost of a qualifying ASHP installation, making it a more accessible investment than ever.
