Consumer Units Replacement
Direct Power replaces old and outdated consumer units across Solihull and the West Midlands. As NICEIC-certified electricians, we handle everything from the initial assessment to final sign-off — with fixed pricing and no hidden costs.
About this service
If your consumer unit (also called a fuse board) is more than 25 years old, uses rewirable fuses, or has no RCD protection, it may not meet current BS 7671 wiring regulations — and could put your home or business at risk.
Direct Power replaces old fuse boards with modern, fully compliant consumer units fitted with RCD and RCBO protection, providing better safety against electric shock and fire. Whether you're a homeowner, landlord, or business owner, we'll assess your existing installation and recommend the right unit for your needs.
All work is carried out by a qualified, NICEIC-certified electrician and is notified to Building Control as required — so you get the paperwork to prove it.
